Karewa Island Field Trip (14.02.24)
Yesterday, we visited Karewa Island to collect seaweed and sponge samples for lab work. I went out with Professor Chris and Bonnie and two students. Karewa Island has an interesting background. It is currently used by DOC as a wildlife sanctuary for Tuatara's.
